Description:

In this probability activity students make predictions and carry out an experiment to determine if their predictions were true. Throughout the activity students collect data using tally marks. Once each set of ten trials in completed students transfer the tallies into fraction, decimals, and percents using their calculators when needed. The activity includes guiding questions, calculator reflection questions, and student worksheets.
