This web page from the Inside Mathematics initiative aims to guide and support educators in understanding the sixth CCSS Practice Standard. Instances of teachers engaging students to be mathematically proficient with the capacity to "attend to precision" are described in Classroom Observations and illustrated in video excerpts of fifth grade students discussing how a rule should be written to describe a pattern.
