Reviewer Comments:

This resource is focused on helping students gain a better understanding of how the media stereotypes Arab people. The lesson includes opportunities for the students to make personal connections to the topic, to watch and analyze clips from the media, and to conduct research on a news station, and to apply what they have learned in a final project. It should be noted that while there is a list of video clips to watch from movies and television, the actual clips are not linked nor specifically identified. The final project is creative, relevant, and timely, however, it might be beneficial to provide students with more structure (guided worksheets, a model, etc.) as they complete the assignment.
