Description:

Stream and drainage landforms of North Dakota are revealed through photographs illustrating a continental drainage divide, meander features, a meander scar, natural levees, necks, an oxbow lake, and suspended sediment load. Each image is accompanied by a brief description of the location, how each landform originated, and how it is likely to evolve as stream processes continue.
