Reviewer Comments:

This resource has materials to teach about the current crisis in Syria with a focus on the Lost Generation.  There is a detailed lesson plan, links to articles and videos on the Teach UNICEF website, and ideas for extension activities.  The lesson not only teaches content about the country of Syria and issues it is facing, but also encourages students to find personal connections in order to gain a better understanding of the topic and to encourage action.  In addition, the Teach UNICEF website has a version of the lesson geared towards younger students and instructional materials on other international issues.
