Description:

This is a collection of introductory physics problems designed for active learning classrooms. Each exercise in this collection is built around research on student acquisition of knowledge. Problems were designed to allow students to consider their own intuitive reasoning processes to help them gain deeper insights. Specific topics include Mechanics, Heat and Temperature, Waves, Electricity and Magnetism, Properties of Matter, Modern Physics, and Optics. A link is also provided to see all the problems displayed by type, such as multiple choice, qualitative reasoning, ranking tasks, context-based, essay questions, and more.
