A new electronic publishing company, The Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress.com), was launched in December 2000 by three University of California, Berkeley economics professors. The press was created in reaction to the frustration over the traditional publishing world by bepress.com founder Bob Cooter, the Herman Selvin Professor of Law at UC-Berkeley. Bepress.com features four scholarly journals The B. E. Journals in Theoretical Economics, The B. E. Journals in Macroeconomics, The B. E. Journals in Economic Analysis and Policy, and Global Jurist. For a limited time only, the full text for all of these journals is free.
