Description:

This website discusses knowledge surveys, which offer a powerful way to achieve course organization and enact instructional alignment. Surveys serve as powerful assessment tools that provide a direct, detailed assessment of content, learning and levels of thinking. Faculty appreciate that knowledge surveys require no in-class time to administer, that they improve planning and preparation, that they validate student learning better than summative student ratings, and that they can construct knowledge surveys from what is already available in their office computers.
