Description:

This site from the National History Museum of London presents an overview of Martian geology and stratigraphy. The site focuses on various surficial features of Mars, such as surface and polar deposits, glacial features, channels, volcanoes and floodplains, as well as more geologically recent gullies. The crustal dichotomy between the ancient highlands and the northern lowlands and the Tharsis Bulge are also discussed.
