The Ocean Project is a collaboration of several zoos, aquariums, science museums, and conservation museums/organizations who are committed to providing better education to their respective visitors and the public regarding the importance of the oceans and the role each person plays in conserving the earths waters. The website offers access to public opinion research, communication strategies, conservation networks, and information and research to informal educators, in order to promote the ocean projects mission of education to these facilities. Membership in the organization is free.
