Reviewer Comments:

This resource is a parent of four and contains: A unit plan for The Secret Life of Bees (already reviewed), a guideline for annotated bibliography practice (unrelated to The Secret Life Bees), an anticipation guide for The Secret Life of Bees and guidelines for an ABC book and rubric project related to the novel. The materials associated with the novel are excellent and although some of the promised attachments are missing, they could be created easily. The annotated bibliography practice resource asks the students to choose one of three essential questions; write their own plan of search terms; skim appropriate articles; annotate, summarize and highlight a chosen one; provide MLA citation; and use the bibliography to select articles for future research. A grading rubric is also included.
