Reviewer Comments:

This resource is a graphic organizer providing a way to compare and contrast the movie version and the novel The Secret Life of Bees. The student compares setting, characters, plot and symbols. The student fills in the graphic organizer after reading the novel, but before watching the movie. Then the student is encouraged to fill in the graphic organizer while watching the movie. Once complete, this visual can provide great insight for discussion and/or writing assignments.
