Reviewer Comments:

In this activity students explore factors of numbers between 1 and 50 by looking at ways to arrange the stars on an American Flag. The lesson plan and student worksheet provided are nicely laid out and easy to read. The activity is engaging and should spark the interest of the students. The lesson does reference a video on Discovery Education; however, a subscription is required. The lesson relates to both Math and LA Common Core State Standards. Teachers will need to explain the difference between prime and composite numbers. Overall, a nicely written lesson that is classroom ready.
