The Geometry Center at the University of Minnesota has created these learning modules, which âemphasize geometric concepts of calculus while examining applications of mathematics to the physical and life sciences.â Each module lists objectives or the main ideas included in the lab, and has a table of contents, which points to each section of the lab. In addition to explaining the concepts with text and images, the modules provide users the opportunity to practice the concepts with interactive graphs and diagrams. The topics of the modules vary from rainbows, to population growth and numerical integration to the geometry of support beams. These are great resources for learning calculus and geometry principles, and some of their real world applications.
