Description:

This interactive applet reinforces the concept of one-half and fosters systematic thinking. Given a square that has been divided into eight equal triangles, the player finds multiple ways of showing half by selecting four parts at a time to color. Players are challenged to find all 13 different representations of half, without repeating a previous one, and to recognize and avoid rotations and reflections (flips).
