Description:

17 April 2005 This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows a valley located at north middle-latitudes near Moreux Crater. This valley might once have been the conduit for a flowing liquid, such as water. Today, the valley is partially filled and the surrounding terrain has the characteristic "roughened" appearance common at middle latitudes in both martian hemispheres.
