Reviewer Comments:

This resource offers four activity centers to teach the letter /m/. The first is a mystery box filled with M & M’s and the literacy activity around it includes writing, finding, circling, coloring m’s. The children’s literature activity provides opportunities for reading, writing, technology, art, drama, music and math – with /m/ word themes. Letter study offers book making, writing m’s in mustard and mayonnaise, The word study center offers writing variations for the Five Little Monkeys who jumped off the___(something beginning with m). Students are assessed informally in a best practices manner.
