Reviewer Comments:

This resource provides students with the opportunity to actively think about the importance of having informed citizens in the voting process. Students participate in a guided discussion that is aided by a PowerPoint presentation that is filled with relevant charts, images, and content. The lesson plan includes an overview as well as detailed procedures for how a teacher can lead the discussion. It should be noted that the presentation includes youtube links that should be checked prior to use in the classroom.
