Description:

This framework follows the principles of backward design as it looks at this curriculum unit. In Stage One, it describes what students will know and be able to do at the completion of the unit- including the vocabulary, language structures, and culture learned in the unit. In Stage Two, the framework presents performance-based assessments that will measure whether students have reached the performance goals of Stage One. Stage Three introduces the thirty lessons and supporting materials of Unit 2.
