Reviewer Comments:

FRONTLINE's "Plague War" was first aired in 1998 and investigated “the ever-increasing threat of biological weapons in today's world, focusing on the rise and fall of the Soviet Union's … bio-weapons program.” This resource is a brief timeline of some historical events involving bio warfare from World War I through the airdate of the program. The timeline includes information about various programs and policies, but is very centered around Russia’s role. In addition, there is no information from the last 15 years. So while this resource is useful as a starting point, or as an anchor for specific study on a very specific time period, it seems that some additional work would need to be done to make this more widely useful in the classroom.
