Description:

In this outdoor science/art activity, learners investigate spider webs by using string to create their own spider webs. Before making their own web models, learners look closely at spider webs in nature, using a water mist sprayer to make real webs more visible in their natural setting. Learners also consider the spiders and other animals they spot on or very near real webs. (In case of rain, this activity can be done in an old shed, garage or shelter where spider webs are found.)
