In this activity (9th activity on the page), learners work in pairs to see how their perception of touch differs from reality. One learner uses a pen/marker to mark a point on the skin of another learner wearing a blindfold. Then, the blindfolded learner touches where he thinks the mark is located on his skin. The learners measure the distance from the guessed point to the actual mark. Learners can test various areas to investigate touch sensitivity throughout the body.
