Description:

Wood Works Written by Edward Pino, Art Instructor, Jose Clemente Orozco Academy of Fine Arts and Sciences, Chicago, IL. The Orozco students took a field trip to Intuit in February, not knowing that an artistic enterprise would soon be set in motion. The plan was to stimulate art activity by exposing the students to the art of William Dawson and to encourage a personal vision to prevail. Inspired by Dawson?s colorful art, students chose to make people, animals, buildings, or totem poles.
