In the Paper Airplanes exercise, students get to practice pushing past barriers as a team — and remaining principled while they do it. Learn more about the activity and why it can be helpful for your students. About This Video Segment (1 of 4) Video Themes What is the Paper Airplane Factory game? Allows students to practice rapid iteration while overcoming challenges as a group. Students are challenged with what seems like an easy activity — and with a high return on investment. Students have fun because they’re allowed to do something in the classroom that is normally forbidden: make and fly paper airplanes. Through the activity, students learn how challenging it is to capture opportunity in the market because of failure in iteration + dynamics of working in a group/organization (vs. a “lone wolf” entrepreneur). They learn to work together and to share knowledge . . . and even then, they may not be successful.
