In this lesson, students will distinguish between arguments that states or the federal government should have more power and identify arguments about where each power should lie. Students will coach a team of players competing to win power for state or federal government. Teammates will offer arguments that, if persuasive, will pull power statues toward one side or the other. Detailed instructions are provided to help students playthe game.
