Your AI Chat History Is Not as Private as You Think

AI tools keep a record of your conversations — and that has real implications in both directions. On district-controlled tools, administrators may be able to view those chat histories, which means a work AI account is not a private space. On the other side, a personal account can “remember” unrelated past chats and let that context bleed into your school work in ways you never intended. Knowing which account you’re using — and who can see what — is the first step to using AI responsibly.
